Ghanaian highlife veteran Amakye Dede has stated that it is worthless to honour veterans when gone.

The Iron Boy hitmaker has described celebrating legends on their dead as worthless. Nana then urged Ghanaians and the music industry to revere legends while they are alive.

According to the veteran, legends must be celebrated and rewarded while they live which will be a sign of their achievement and hard work.
Speaking to Kessben FM, he cited that if we celebrate them well, it will inspire generations to follow in their footsteps. This goes to all institutions and industries honouring great men and women after their death.
