569,095 Candidates Ready For BECE Exams Today
The 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), which is slated to take place from July 8 to July 15, 2024, has officially been announced by the Ghana Education Service (GES).
The announcement pertains to 2,123 examination centers around the country and is intended for roughly 569,095 students.
On July 7, 2024, the GES congratulated all applicants on their diligence and perseverance in studying for the exams in a press release released from their Accra headquarters.
They also thanked parents, guardians, educators, school administrators, teachers, and other stakeholders for their vital contributions to the candidates’ campaigns.
The GES stressed the value of honesty throughout the examinations, advising candidates, invigilators, supervisors, and parents to respect moral principles and refrain from any kind of dishonesty.
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) and security services, in conjunction with the GES, have implemented steps to monitor and protect the integrity of the process in order to guarantee the exams run smoothly.
The GES notified parents and applicants about the upcoming school selection procedure after the BECE concluded.
