La General Hospital OPD to Open by Late 2024
Solomon Kotey Nikoi, MCE of La Dadekotopon Municipal Assembly, is optimistic about La General Hospital’s OPD opening to the public by late 2024. He assures the public of the government’s commitment to fund disbursement for timely project completion.
President Akufo-Addo announced securing alternative funding for the hospital’s reconstruction during his recent State of the Nation Address. Nikoi emphasizes the importance of promptly finishing the project to provide healthcare services to residents.
“We are very glad to announce that now the construction of the La General Hospital has begun. We have been there on a few occasions to do site visits and the speed at which the construction is moving is something very good and per their working schedule, by the close of this year, the OPD will be ready for operations.
“So we are very happy but for now, I don’t want to commit myself but what I can say is by the close of the year, we will have the OPD in full operation.”
La General Hospital serves as a critical healthcare facility for residents of the city and surrounding areas. It offers a range of medical services, including outpatient care, emergency services, and inpatient treatment. It plays crucial role in providing accessible healthcare with a focus on delivering quality medical care.
