Three persons were found red-handed supplying tramadol to dealers illegally. Two of the guys who claim to be nurses at Kumbungu health center and Walewale Government Hospital.
The culprits were apprehended with the intent to distribute significant amounts of Tramadol, including dosages of 150 and 250 mg, to vendors of these controlled substances.
They were discovered to be in possession of several Tramadol boxes, which they were selling for much less than what the drug was worth.
Because of its potential for misuse and addiction, the powerful painkiller is subject to strict regulations. Generally speaking, a dose of 50 mg is enough.
The suspects acknowledged that their actions were illegal when questioned.
They acknowledged that they had sold locals additional narcotics in addition to Tramadol.
Security officials made the arrests following their observation of suspicious activities and subsequent confrontation with the suspects.
