NPP Urges Assin Fosu Chiefs to Punish NDC Leaders for Cursing EC

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) leadership in Assin Central NPP is requesting that the Assin Fosu chiefs call a meeting and discipline National Democratic Congress (NDC) members who have cursed the officials of the Electoral Commission (EC) and Godfred Nti Anewu, the Assin Central NPP parliamentary candidate.

The NPP was charged by the NDC with reportedly transferring voters from Kasoa to the Assin Central Constituency in order to cast their ballots.

No matter how serious the circumstance, it is forbidden to conjure a curse in the Efutuakwa Traditional Area (Assin Fosu).

James Appiah, the deputy secretary of the Assin Central NPP, urged the chiefs to punish the NDC officials who used the curse as a warning to others in an interview with Adom News.

Additionally, contrary to what the NDC said, the NPP candidate is not moving voters from Kasoa to Assin Central, according to Bernard Ankomah, the director of NPP communications for Assin Central.
