Kotoka Airport Should Be Renamed – KSM
Ghanaian comedian and Media personality Kwaku Sintim Misa has raised concerns about Kotoka International Airport.
According to him, authorities should act swiftly in changing the name from Kotoka international airport to something worthy.
Ghana’s International Airport is named after a man who overthrew the country’s first prime minister and president. According to the experience show host, the name is a disgrace to mother Ghana.

KSM as he is affectionately called among many people who have talked about taking away the late Lieutenant Kotoka’s name from the airport. He explains that it is a disgrace to the history of the country and must be removed.
Although he believes most people will disagree with him, he thinks the name should be Ghana International Airport. There have been calls to change the name of the airport for a progressive identity.
He made this statement in a post on social media. He wrote;
AT THE RISK OF ANGERING MANY, my wish is to see the name of Kotoka REMOVED from the Airport. It’s a DISGRACE to our History. HAPPY NEW YEAR.
