Ofosu-Ampofo Earns Doctorate From GIMPA

Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, a former chairman of the National Democratic Congress, has graduated from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Administration, Governance, and Leadership.

At the 24th Congregation of GIMPA, he was one of five individuals to get a PhD degree with the theme “Strengthening partnership for impact.”

“Democratic politics and political vigilantism in Ghana’s Fourth Republic” was the subject of his doctoral dissertation.

Data from 46 vigilante group owners and members, CSOs, state security agencies, and vigilante activity beneficiaries were used in his research.

It suggested that all parties involved work together to combat the threat.

Cornelius Yao Azumah, Nathaniel Blankson, Elvis Kwame, Thomas Akrofi, and Elvis Kwame Agyapong were the other PhD grads who presented their research in various disciplines.
