Kofi Okyere Darko, better known by his stage as KOD, is a Ghanaian broadcaster and fashion designer has supported National Democratic Congress flagbearer John Dramani Mahama in his campaign.
He claims that John Mahama is the much-needed breath of fresh air for Ghanaians.
“Today, I stand in front of you as Ghanaians with the strong conviction that we need that change that we have been yearning for, and that is why I stand today to endorse His Excellency John Dramani Mahama as the next President of the Republic of Ghana.”
He made these comments at the NDC 2024 official campaign launch in Tamale on July 27.
According to KOD, Mahama is the visionary leader Ghana needs to advance to the next level.
According to the fashion designer, Mahama’s plans are commendable and a real example of progress and remedies for Ghana’s issues.
He mobilized young people to support Mr. Mahama in the election because they are all extremely burdened.
KOD declared in September 2023 that he would cast his ballot for the NDC in the general election of 2024.
Prior to the general elections in both 2015 and 2007, the media personality claimed to have consistently backed the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He claimed that the NPP, though, had fallen short of its pledges.
