Government To Launch GHartisan APP For Artisans
There will be a passing out ceremony for 10,000 artisans who have finished their training under the skills training program on Tuesday, August 27, hosted by the Youth Employment Agency (YEA).
The event will take place at Valley View University in Techiman, Bono East Region, concurrently with the release of the GHartisan App.
The GHartisan App is an online platform that will house the profiles of skilled craftspeople, facilitating connections between them and individuals in need of their services.
In addition, YEA will provide the graduates with beginning packs so they can start their own companies and embark on entrepreneurial endeavors.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, vice president and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), will be the honored guest.
Additional notable speakers include Kwasi Adu-Gyan, Kofi Agyepong, Chief Executive Officer of YEA, and Minister for Employment and Labor Relations, Ignatius Baffour-Awuah, Bono East Regional Minister.
