Nana Frimpomaa Sarpong Kumankumah, a former CPP chair, has been chosen to be the flagbearer for the election on December 7.
This occurred at the CPP’s presidential primary, which took place on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, across all 16 regions of the country.
Yaw Anokye Frimpong, a lawyer, and Nana Frimpomaa ran in the same event.
There were 1,360 votes cast overall at the conclusion of the election.
With 11 ballots rejected, Nana Kumankumah received 763 votes, while Mr. Frimpong received 586.
