Ghana Highway Authority Declares Commencement Of Apedwa-Ksi Road Maintenance

The Accra-Kumasi Highway’s Apedwa-Ejisu section will undergo planned renovation, according to the Ghana Highway Authority, with the goal of improving the pavement’s ride quality and guaranteeing increased safety and traffic flow.

This 160-kilometer section, which passes through important economic hubs like Bunso Junction, Anyinam, Konongo, and Ejisu, is essential for linking Accra and Kumasi.

The Highway Authority stated in a statement that the goal of the maintenance work is to increase the road’s lifespan and ride quality.

The Authority, speaking on behalf of the Ministry of Roads and Highways, has informed the public and drivers that lane restrictions will occur on a portion of the roadway during maintenance.

Although there may be delays and slower speeds, contractors will use efficient traffic control techniques to ensure everyone travels safely.

The Authority apologizes for any trouble this may have caused and further expressed gratitude to the people for their understanding.
