One military officer from the 11 Mechanized Battalion in Bawku has died in a horrific tragedy, while five more are critically injured.
The Upper East Region’s Binduri is where the tragedy happened.
Eyewitnesses reported that the military vehicle, registered 15 GA 04, suddenly went off the road and repeatedly somersaulted while it was heading from Bawku towards Bazua.
One officer died instantly in the brutal collision, while five more officers suffered serious injuries.
The wounded officers received emergency medical attention and were swiftly taken to the Tamale Teaching Hospital and the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital.
