Taxi Driver, 45, Found Dead With Hands And Legs Tied [Photos]

Charles Oppong, a 45-year-old taxi driver who lived in the Eastern Region’s Birim Central Municipality’s Akyem Oda Old Town, was discovered dead.

At Akyem Swedru Royal Mount Calvary, he was discovered in an incomplete construction with his hands and legs bound together.

The deceased did not return after leaving home for work on the evening of Monday, October 21, 2024, according to information compiled by Kwasi Azor of Adom News.

His family began a search as a result, but regrettably it was unsuccessful.

On Friday, October 25, locals alerted the Akyem Swedru Police, under the direction of District Commander Philip Nketia, about a body discovered inside the incomplete structure.

The deceased was discovered to be Charles Oppong, the missing cab driver.

A married father of three, Charles Oppong was regarded as a decent and trustworthy man in Akyem Oda and the surrounding area.

His family has urged the police to look into his unexplained death in great detail.
