Famers’ Day, November 8, Is Not A Holiday – Gov’t Clarifies
Despite the 40th Farmers’ Day celebration, the Ministry of Interior has declared that Friday, November 8, 2024, would not be a public holiday.
For the 2024 commemoration, the date has been rescheduled from December 6, which would have been the customary first Friday in December.
However, the approaching general elections have made this rescheduling necessary.
Despite the early celebration, the Interior Ministry stated in a statement that December 6 is still the statutory holiday.
