On November 9, 2024, Empress Safi, RCG Women’s Commissioner, led a team to the Madina Polyclinic’s Maternity Ward at Rawlings Circle. This visit fulfilled a core tenet of the Rastafari Creed: serving humanity, promoting social justice, and caring for the marginalized.
To actualize their planned donation to the Babies and Mama’s unit, Queen Naa DeiDei Omeadru Mpese I, an Honourable Queen Member of the Women’s Commission, spearheaded a successful fundraising effort.

The commission recognizes Empress Menen ASFAW’s charitable legacy and seeks to continue supporting the Maternity Ward until it becomes well-resourced.
