The National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) 2024 parliamentary candidate for Damongo, Adam Mutawakilu, has been named the Ghana Water Limited’s (GWL) acting chief executive officer (CEO) by President John Dramani Mahama.Ghanaian-inspired merchandise
The appointment is pending the GWL Governing Board’s constitutionally mandated advice after consulting with the Public Services Commission.
The nomination of Mutawakilu will take effect on January 22, 2025, according to a statement released by Dr. Callistus Mahama, the Executive Secretary to the President.
Within fourteen (14) days of receiving the letter, the President congratulated Adam Mutawakilu and asked him to formally announce his acceptance of the job. The president’s best wishes for success in his new position were included at the end of the message.
