The Minister of Communication-Designate, Sam George, has announced that the LGBTQ+ Bill will be reintroduced in the 9th Parliament.
Speaking during his vetting before the Appointments Committee, the Ningo-Prampram MP explained that the bill expired with the dissolution of the 8th Parliament, as noted by President Mahama. Consequently, it must be reintroduced for consideration in the new legislative session.
Sam George assured the committee of his commitment to working with relevant stakeholders to reintroduce the bill and facilitate its approval by President Mahama.
