National Service Authority Adopts Cashless System

Through GHANA.GOV, the National Service Authority (NSA) has declared that it will fully switch to a cashless payment system.

The Authority claims that the project supports the government’s modernizing initiatives for revenue collection.

The NSA said in a statement that all user agencies and stakeholders must use the digital platform to make payments, including the 20% and 10% administrative fees, as of right now.

Payments can be made 24/7 via www.ghana.gov.gh or by dialing *222# on mobile networks,” the statement said.

Additionally, payments can be initiated through personnel dashboards or via invoices sent to HR or Finance representatives.

GHANA.GOV offers multiple seamless payment options, including debit and credit cards, mobile money, online banking, QR code payments, direct transfers, SWIFT, and ACH transfers.

Meanwhile, the NSA has strictly prohibited manual payments to staff at district, regional, or headquarters offices.

Stakeholders are encouraged to embrace this system to streamline processes and support Ghana’s cashless economy vision,” it added.
