Alex Mould Succeeds Michael Asare Bediako As MiDA CEO

Alex Mould has been named the new CEO of the Millennium Development Authority (MiDA), after Michael Asare Bediako left the position.
Bediako oversaw significant institutional changes and creative initiatives during his time there that improved MiDA’s contribution to Ghana’s economic growth.
He oversaw the authority’s transformation from a Compact-funded to a subvented agency, guaranteeing its continued existence as a vital public service body.
He played a key role in the establishment of the Digital Youth Hub and the Economic Enclaves Project (EEP), which put MiDA at the vanguard of Ghana’s industrialization driven by agricultural and digital transformation.
Furthermore, his endeavors to strengthen MiDA’s collaboration with the Millennium Challenge Corporation established the groundwork for prospective future Compact accords that seek to promote growth by reducing poverty.
Bediako thanked everyone for their support as he stepped down and said he was certain that MiDA would continue to succeed under its new leadership.
The new CEO, Alex Mould, has a wealth of experience in Ghana’s finance and energy industries. His selection by President John Mahama, a former CEO of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) and the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), demonstrates a dedication to maintaining MiDA’s advancement.
Bediako has already held talks with Mould to guarantee the continuation of strategic objectives, and he has promised a seamless transfer. He is upbeat about MiDA’s future and its influence on Ghana’s development as he embarks on new national service possibilities.
