A female student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has been found dead near the school’s Centre for Disability in what is suspected to be a robbery attack.
The lifeless body of the student was discovered in the early hours of Thursday, sending shockwaves across the university community.
Eyewitnesses suspect she may have been attacked while returning from night studies, as the university is currently in the middle of its mid-semester examinations.
Her bag and other belongings were found ransacked beside her, further fueling suspicions of a robbery.
