Accident On Airport Bypass Road Leaves Three Injured

Three persons were hurt in a collision on the Airport Bypass Road earlier this morning, which also caused significant traffic congestion in the region.

A trotro minibus (GS 5979-22) and a red Hyundai Elantra (GE 1315-18) were involved in the collision.

Witnesses stated that the trotro was speeding when it drifted into the opposite lane, hitting with the Hyundai Elantra, though the precise cause of the collision is still unknown.

After suffering injuries, the Hyundai Elantra’s occupants were taken to the hospital right away for treatment.

The usual flow of traffic in the area was restored once other road users were able to clear the traffic accumulation.
