‘Waye Me Yie’ Deserves to Win Song Of The Year- Delay

Radio presenter and media figure Deloria Frimpong Manso also known as Delay has tipped Piesie Esther Waye Me Yie for Song of the Year in the Ghana Music Awards.

Delay is one of the many music lovers and fans who have felt in love with the hit record released by the ace gospel musician last year.

Waye Me Yie, which translates into English as He has been good to me symbolizes the testimonies of many people. The has been the household song in Ghana since last year.

Piesie Esther in an interview with Delay on Wontumi Radio revealed the inspiration behind such a powerful song. Delay also recommends the song to win the gospel song of the year in the coming Ghana Music Awards.

She stated that she has bet on the to be a hit since it was released. Also hyped that no writer can’t compete with the lyrics of the song.

“In my entire career as a radio presenter, I have betted on two songs to be massive hits – Ofori Amponsah’s song ‘Odwo’ and the second is yours, ‘Way3 me in. These two songs”. Delay said.

Way3 Me Yie was released to mark Piesie Esther’s 20 years of experience in the music industry and gospel genre.
