Man kills rival over ex-wife’s love affair

The Ghana Police Service has arrested a man identified as Malcom Fraizer, alias Nii Djan, in connection with the murder of another man following a violent altercation in Accra.

The arrest, made on July 1, 2025, came after the National Operations Directorate (NOD) Intelligence Unit of the police tracked down the suspect’s hideout through intelligence gathering. The development followed the circulation of a video linked to the incident, which helped investigators locate and apprehend the suspect.

According to a statement from the Police, the incident occurred on April 1, 2025. During preliminary interrogation, the suspect confessed to engaging in a physical fight with the deceased after discovering that the man was allegedly in a relationship with his ex-wife.

Fraizer is currently in police custody and is assisting with ongoing investigations.

The Police has not yet released further details about the identity of the deceased or the circumstances surrounding the incident. However, the police has assured the public that it remains committed to ensuring justice is served.
