With a lavish event that drew a sizable crowd, Kwame Asare Obeng, better known by his stage name A-Plus, formally launched his political campaign as an Independent Candidate in Gomoa Central.
Held in Gomoa Ekwamkrom, the launch was a major turning point for A-Plus, who has been progressively expanding his political movement over the course of the previous year.
Speaking to the jubilant audience, he considered the trip thus far and stated, “When we started, doubters said it wouldn’t be sustained, but look at us now. We are formally launching my political bid a year later.
A-Plus promised his followers that his campaign would be essential to taking the seat from the more than fifty thousand candidates in Gomoa.
He expressed his sincere affection and concern for Ghanaians and advised them to overlook the harsh comments made about him on social media.
A-Plus emphasized his dedication to community development and cited the implementation of water projects in several areas as evidence of his commitment to enhancing people’s quality of life.
Notable people attended the occasion, including Akosua Vee, the wife of A-Plus, who supported her husband during the campaign launch.
A number of his colleagues, including entertainment critic Arnold Baidoo, also graced the ceremony to offer their support.
