Accident: 7 dead, 8 In Critical Condition At Gomoa
Seven people have fallen in a gory accident at Gomoa Antseadze on the Cape Coast to Accra highway in the Central Region.
According to reports, eight others involved in the accident are heavily injured. They have been taken to Mankessim and St. Luke’s Catholic Hospital at Apam for treatment.
Reports from the Apam District Fire Service Officer, ACFO Ankomah Nuamah indicate the incident happened because of careless driving.

According to the officer, the driver of a Sprinter Benz bus with registration number GW 7920-22 and another Sprinter bus was racing on the road. This is common competition among drivers looking for passengers.
During the race, one driver lost control causing the vehicle to somersault severally before hitting a tree. An eyewitness reported the Apam Fire Station which sent personnel to rescue the injured.
