Accra–Kumasi Highway: 5 Feared Dead in Kyekyewere Accident

A tragic accident occurred at Kyekyewere along the Accra–Kumasi Highway, resulting in the loss of five lives and leaving several others injured. Among the casualties are two women and three men, although their identities have not yet been out.

The reported accident occurred around 3:25 pm and involved a green sprinter bus with registration number GT 6673-13, which was traveling from Accra to Kumasi. However, the exact cause of the accident remains unknown at this time.

Tragically, the incident resulted in fatalities, with the bodies of the deceased being taken to the Suhum Government Hospital. Additionally, those who sustained injuries are currently receiving treatment to address their varying degrees of harm.
