The Africa Prosperity Champions Awards (APCA) & Presidential Gala Dinner 2025 will take place tomorrow, February 1, 2025, at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra, Ghana.
The prestigious event marks the grand finale of the 2025 Africa Prosperity Dialogues (APD) and will bring together over 400 distinguished guests, including Heads of State, business leaders, and policymakers from across the continent and beyond.
The awards will honor outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to Africa’s economic growth, integration, and development. Sidig Eltoum, CEO of the Africa Prosperity Network (APN), emphasized that the APCA aims to inspire future leaders to drive Africa’s progress toward Agenda 2063 and global competitiveness.

The 2025 APCA will recognize excellence in the following categories:

- Women’s Empowerment
- Excellence in Pan-African Media
- Leadership in Connecting Africa
- Champion of Transformative Education
- Financial Leadership
- Excellence in Tourism Promotion for Africa and Global Africa
- Champion of the African We Want
A special posthumous award will be presented to Herman Chinery-Hesse (1963 – 2024), a pioneer in Africa’s digital technology sector.
The evening will feature performances from Stonebwoy, Ghana’s 2024 Artiste of the Year, along with Africa’s Leading Musical Ensemble, Chief Moomen’s “Mansa Musa” play, Noyam, and solo artist Six Strings.
