Accra Hearts Of Oaks has agreed on a deal to sell Afriyie Barnieh To FC Zurich of Switzerland.
Afriyie Barnieh has renewed his contract with the phobians until the end of the CHAN tournament. The phobians have now agreed to let the player play in Europe.
According to Kumasi 104.1 FM, Hearts of Oaks, will receive $150 000 from the player’s sales. There have been lots of controversies around the contract extension of the player.

Barnieh reportedly rejected an offer from Major League Soccer side, Cincinnati before leaving the phobians for FC Zurich. Samuel Inkoom and other Ghanaian players started their European careers in Switzerland.
Officially, the contract extension wahala between the player and the club has been sorted out. After the CHAN tournament, he will leave for his new club.
