Agbodza, Ibrahim Mahama Provide Aid To Ketu South Following Tidal Wave Disaster

Following the devastating tidal waves that have struck communities in Ketu South, generous support has poured in to assist those affected.

Among the significant contributions, Roads and Highways Minister Kwame Governs Agbodza has donated 250 bags of 25kg rice, 50 boxes of cooking oil, and 1,000 bags of sachet water to provide immediate relief.

Additionally, business mogul Ibrahim Mahama has extended his support with a generous cash donation of GHS100,000, reinforcing his commitment to helping those in distress.

The National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) has also stepped in, supplying various relief items to ensure the displaced residents have access to essential supplies.

President John Dramani Mahama made this known when he visited Agavedzi to assess the destruction caused by the tidal waves, on Thursday March 6.

President Mahama assured the victims that their MP and Minister for Tourism, Abla Dzifa Gomashiewho was out of the country on a national assignment will see to the dstribution of the items on her arrival over the weekend.

Meanwhile, the Volta Caucus MPs also collectively contributed another GHS100,000 to aid in the relief efforts.

Further extending their support, a private lawyer has donated GHS10,000 to assist in the ongoing relief and recovery operations.
