In a final farewell to a lady whose impact on Ghanaian politics and her fervent support of farmers and women will endure for a very long time, Akua Donkor, the founder and head of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), will be laid to rest on Saturday, March 29.

The last rites will be performed from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at her hometown of Ejuratia, where the burial ceremony will be held.

It is anticipated that members of the public, family, friends, and political allies will come together to celebrate her extraordinary life and legacy.

Akua Donkor leaves behind a significant political legacy in Ghana after passing away on Tuesday, October 28, 2024, at the Ridge Hospital in Accra.

She was a daring and vivacious voice in Ghanaian politics, well-known for her efforts to support the rights of women and farmers.
