Akufo-Addo Appoints COP Yohuno As Deputy IGP Of Operations
Christian Tetteh Yohuno, the Commissioner of Police (COP), has been named by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the next Deputy Inspector-General of Police overseeing Operations.
The Police Council recommended this nomination during its meeting today, Wednesday, July 17, 2024, after COP Yohuno’s outstanding qualifications and unwavering commitment to service were noted.
COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno has been a respected law enforcement professional for more than thirty years.
He has occupied a number of important roles in the Ghana Police Service.
With great congratulations on his well-earned appointment, President Akufo-Addo wishes COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno all the best in carrying out his responsibilities.
