Akufo-Addo Commissions New Bank of Ghana Headquarters

The president of the Republic, His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, has commissioned the new Bank of Ghana headquarters called the Bank Square

The $250 million  edifice will accommodate over 2,500 staff,  alongside offices, public banking facilities, 1,500 seater auditorium, etc..

The special guest of honour, His Excellecy Akufo-Addo,  hailed the project.

“This architectural masterpiece not only stands as a symbol of financial strength and stability, but also reflects Ghana’s commitment to modernizing their institution to meet the demands of the fast changing world,” Akufo-Addo said.

He further commended the management of Bank of Ghana and architects, engineers, contractors who brought the Bank Square to life.

“This iconic structure built by a Ghanaian entity- Kweku Badiako’s Gold Key Properties Ltd is proof of their creativity, expertise and perseverance,” he said “This stands as a landmark of pride for the people of Ghana and beacon of our future.”
