Alan Kyerematen, the leader of the Movement for Change, has expressed his sympathy and support for the victims of the recent accident involving President Nana Akufo-Addo’s convoy.
This unfortunate incident took place on Sunday at the Bunso Junction in the Eastern region. The crash had tragic consequences, resulting in the immediate death of the driver of the Toyota Land Cruiser. Additionally, three other individuals who were in the vehicle suffered various injuries. Kyerematen’s message aims to offer solace to those affected by this tragic event.
According to reports, the crash occurred when a KIA Rhino truck unexpectedly crossed into the path of the vehicle, leading to a collision. This sudden and unforeseen maneuver by the KIA Rhino truck directly caused the accident, highlighting the precariousness and unpredictability of the situation that unfolded on the road.
In an official statement, Mr. Kyerematen expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family mourning their loss during this profoundly challenging time. Acknowledging the depth of their grief, he extended his sympathies to provide comfort and support.
Additionally, Mr. Kyerematen conveyed his prayers and well-wishes for those injured in the accident. He expressed hope for their swift and complete recovery, underscoring his concern for their well-being and his desire for them to regain their health as quickly as possible.
The 2024 presidential candidate also prayed for travel blessings for everyone who will travel in order to serve Ghanaians ahead of the election on December 7.
Akufo-Addo, meantime, was not in the convoy when the accident occurred. Over the weekend, he attended the funeral of former Deputy Finance Minister and Ejisu, John Kumah, in Kumasi.
