The Movement for Change’s founder and leader, Alan Kyerematen, who is also the Afrafranto Alliance’s presidential candidate, has extended an invitation to Accra citizens to participate in the Afrafranto Mega Victory Walk on Saturday, November 2.
The walk will begin at Kwame Nkrumah Circle at 6:00 a.m. and proceed via the SO Filling Station and the former PTC Building before coming to an end at Obra Spot.
Reflecting on the massive turnout and enthusiastic response during the Kumasi Walk, Alan stated, “Our supporters in Kumasi demonstrated unity, strength, and unwavering support for our mission to transform Ghana. Now, we’re bringing that same spirit to Accra, and I look forward to seeing the people of the capital join us in this journey of hope.”
However, Kyerematen claimed in a press conference that people have been spreading false information about the Victory Walk’s postponement through deceptive social media posts and mass SMS texts.
“They did it prior to the Kumasi Walk and they are doing it again. I urge all Ghanaians in Accra to ignore such false information and join us as we walk together to showcase our movement’s unity, strength, and preparedness to lead Ghana toward a brighter future.”
Alan Kyerematen hopes to encourage unity among Ghanaians and draw attention to his plan to transform the Greater Accra area with the Afrafranto Mega Victory Walk.
He is still optimistic that Accra will match the hundreds of thousands of people that supported him in Kumasi, indicating a swelling tide of support from across the country.
