Alhaji Karim Grusah, a Black Stars Management committee member has asked the Minister for Sports to kiss goodbye to his request for Qatar to donate a stadium to Ghana.
Alhaji Grusah who doubles as the owner of the local club King Faisal has Hon. Mustapha Ussif does not bother himself because the stadium will not be properly maintained.
He cited an awkward example with the state of the country’s stadia.

“I will advise the Sports Minister not to appeal to the Qatar government for any stadium because we cannot maintain it,” he stated
“We can’t even maintain it should they agree to hand over the stadium to us unless the Qatari government agrees to maintain it for us” Alhaji added.

His comments confirm reports that Ghana is in a chase with Qatar authorities to consider donating one of the stadia used for the FIFA World Cup held last year.
Alhaji Grusah made these comments on Kumasi-based Pure FM and backed his facts with the poor maintenance culture in Ghana.
