Ashanti Regional Minister Offers Financial Aid Of GHC5K Each To Odumase Explosion Victims

Following a horrific explosion that left three people dead and numerous more injured, Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene has donated GHC5,000 to each impacted household in Odumase, near Konongo in the Asante Akyem Central Municipality.
According to reports, the fire began at a store that sold dynamites and other explosives used by nearby miners. This set off a tremendous explosion that damaged structures and left several people hurt.
Although there are already three people dead, authorities stated that a number of injured individuals, including firefighters, had received treatment and been released.
Medical officials are thinking about sending two seriously injured patients to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for more sophisticated care, while five casualties are still in the hospital.
During a visit to the scene on March 6, Dr Amoakohene assured the public that investigations are ongoing and that those responsible for the unauthorized sale of explosives will be arrested.
