Hon. Andrew Asiamah Amoako, Member of Parliament for the Fomena Constituency, has been elected as the Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament.
His election took place during the first sitting of the first meeting of the first session of Parliament.
The nomination for the Second Deputy Speaker of the 8th Parliament was made by Hon. Annoh Dompreh, Member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri, and seconded by Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, Member of Parliament for Tamale South.
