Conservative politician Andrew Edwards is being investigated for reportedly stating that “all white men should have a Black slave.”
Andrew Edwards, a former magistrate and County councillor from Pembrokeshire, Wales, is accused of claiming that Black people are a “lower class”. By his virtues, white counterparts are superior to blacks.
The black race has been subjected to institutional racism since the introduction of slavery. More importantly, the United Kingdom has enslaved more races than any kingdom alive.

Nothing wrong with skin colour at all. I think all white men should have a Black man as a slave or a Black woman as a slave, you know. There’s nothing wrong with skin colour, it’s just that they’re lower class than us white people,” he allegedly stated in the audio. Andrew Edwards was heard saying that.
Andrew Edwards voluntarily reported himself to the Public Services Ombudsman. The Conservative group on Pembrokeshire County Council has confirmed that investigating the matter.
Mr Edwards, who also serves as a school governor, has not been suspended. Reacting to the allegations, he stated: “I am aware of such serious allegations being made against me. This is why I have self-referred to the Public Services Ombudsman for an independent evaluation.
It is now in the hands of legal experts and the ombudsman. It would be unfair on the process for me to comment.” A Pembrokeshire council spokesperson said: “We are aware of an allegation being made and have referred the matter to the ombudsman. It would be inappropriate to comment further.”
