Appiah-Kubi Baidoo, the former parliamentary candidate for Sefwi Akontombra, has formally resigned from the New Patriotic Party (NPP), claiming that the party’s leadership has treated him unfairly for years.
Baidoo wrote to the party chairman to convey his profound dissatisfaction with the treatment he and his immediate family had received.
He said that numerous requests for remedy from the party’s National Executive Committee were unsuccessful.
His resignation adds to growing concerns about internal tensions and unresolved grievances within the party.
