Due of her capacity for gunfire, Awutu Senya East MP Hawa Koomson has been told by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Chairman that she needs to be deployed on a peacekeeping assignment in Afghanistan.
While on a campaign trip at the Kasoa market with parliamentary candidate Phyllis Naa Koryoo Okunor, Johnson Asiedu Nketia made the following remarks to NDC supporters.
According to General Mosquito, legislators should represent their constituents’ best interests and work to ensure their welfare, not only those who are eager to pull triggers.
He said that Naa Koryoo possesses this quality, and he called on voters to cast large ballots for both her and NDC flagbearer John Mahama on December 7.
Mr. Nketia pledged that the NDC is ready to unseat the NPP in this election and urged Naa Koryoo to maintain hope in the face of hardship.
The NDC Chairman claimed that Naa Koryoo will become as great as the late South African President Nelson Mandela was after his detention, drawing inspiration from Mandela’s imprisonment.
As with the story of Naa Koryoo, Mandela’s imprisonment changed and strengthened him despite his enemies’ belief that it was the end of him.
Hawa Koomson wouldn’t have done that if she hadn’t needed Naa Koryoo’s blessing. To thunderous applause from the assembly, he declared, “She who fires the shots will be sent for peacekeeping in Afghanistan, but Naa Koryoo will go to parliament to serve the interest of Kasoa.”
Naa Koryoo, in the meantime, warning Ghanaians against making the mistake of voting for the NPP once more since doing so will cause the economy to implode.
