Asiedu Nketiah list to lead Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority Board

Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has officially been sworn in as the new Board Chairman of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA).

The swearing-in ceremony took place on Wednesday, June 25. It also marked the induction of Professor Ransford Gyampo, acting CEO of the Ghana Shippers Authority, as a member of the newly constituted board.

These appointments are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the governance structure of the GPHA and to provide strategic leadership in the development and regulation of the country’s port infrastructure.

The new board is expected to steer policy direction, enhance operational efficiency, and support infrastructure expansion initiatives at Ghana’s key port facilities.
