Bedridden business mogul Asuma Banda has received a divorce letter from his first wife.
Asuma Banda has been bedridden for some time now at the 37 Military Hospitals. His sisters requested custody of his dying body due to the behaviour of his wives. Their fears have befallen them as the first sister-in-law files for divorce.
According to reports, Mrs Banda is seeking the annulment of their marriage with a settlement. Settlement of more than half of the man’s belongings.

She contends in the court filings that she should be granted 60% of Banda’s inheritance noting the role she played in assisting the now-ailing billionaire from his early days when they met in London.
Cassandra and Asuma Banda married in London in 1974. According to her, has now reached a stage of irreconcilable differences following years of alleged womanizing.
Asuma Banda has lately been in the headlines after viral recordings of a custody struggle surrounding his bedside at the 37 Military Hospital were posted on social media.

Banda’s family subsequently petitioned President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, former president John Mahama and the National Chief Imam to intercede in the custody concerns.
A court has handed custody and care of Banda to his second wife Edwina Baaba Coussey Banda who he married in 1991. The Anktrak Air CEO turned 89 this year and will clock 90 years by next year June.
