The chief of Nsawam, Nana Kwamena Ansah I, has honored Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the vice president and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), for his significant contributions to the nation’s digital development.
During the NPP flagbearer’s campaign trip of the Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency on Friday, Nana Kwamena Ansah welcomed Dr. Bawumia to his palace and praised his digitalization-focused vision for the nation, stating that it is the right course of action.
Nana Kwamena Ansah spoke:
“It is historic for Nsawam that Bawumia is here. He has shown that he knows tradition and, on behalf of the people, I am extremely happy to welcome him,”
The digital agenda he wants to bring to move this country forward is a great idea which I believe is possible. As a result, I confer on him the chieftaincy title Ntentankesehene, in recognition of what he has done and what he wants to do for this country,”
The chief of Nsawam bestowed upon Dr. Bawumia the honorary chieftaincy title “Ntentankesehene,” which translates to “King of the Web,” in recognition of his digital endeavors and fresh outlook for Ghana.
In addition, Nana Kwamena Ansah reassured the Vice President of his prayers and stated his unwavering belief in Dr. Bawumia’s agenda for the nation.
“We know Dr. Bawumia has what it takes to develop the country,” he added.
“We are praying for him. May the Almighty God grant his positive vision towards the development of the country.”
