Beginning Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at the party’s headquarters in Asylum Down, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) 2024 presidential candidate, and the party’s national leadership will embark on a statewide “Thank You Tour.”
The Western Region will host the next tour on Saturday, April 26.
This initiative comes after the National Democratic Congress (NDC) defeated the NPP in the general elections of 2024.
The National Council of the NPP has approved the tour, which aims to thank the public and party members for their support throughout the election process.
The tour, which operates under the motto “In All Things, Give Thanks to God” (1 Thessalonians 5:18), demonstrates the party’s dedication to accepting divine direction and promoting harmony among its members.
Party supporters will have the opportunity to interact directly with the leadership throughout the tour, which will take place throughout Ghana’s sixteen regions and include regional and constituency assemblies. Notably, because of its political importance, the Ashanti Region will host a three-day program from April 29 to May 1, 2025.
On June 4, 2025, the voyage is expected to end in the Central Region.
In their separate regions and constituencies, the NPP urged its members and supporters to actively engage in the tour events.
