Bawumia: Vote Me Out If I Fail to Deliver In Four Years

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, has appealed for the support of the Nanung community in the upcoming elections scheduled for December.

During his campaign tour in the northern region of Bimbilla, he made this known.

He claimed to have the capacity to serve for eight years, in contrast to previous President John Mahama’s four-year term limit.

Dr. Bawumia begged the people to grant him another shot at being president, telling them they could deny him a second term if he didn’t perform.

He proclaimed:

“I am the Vice President; I’ve not been president yet and I want to plead with you, I am going to the contest with my senior John Mahama, he has been president before, and when he comes, he has only four years.

“When I come, I have eight years, so, if you look at the presidency, do we want four years or eight? After four years, he won’t come but I will come for renewal, so please give me the chance, so that I can be accountable”

Nyelinbolgu Bimbilla regent Naa Dassana Andani Yakubu affirmed the good work the NPP government has done in the constituency while pledging her whole support for Dr. Bawumia.

The regent expressed hope that Dr. Bawumia would create a university, upgrade the Bimbilla Municipal hospital, build a health facility, and enhance Nanung’s water supply if he were to win.
