Blaze Ravages Shops In Bolgatanga
Some stores in Bolgatanga, the Upper East Regional Capital, have been completely destroyed by a terrible fire outbreak.
Just one week after a nearby restaurant was destroyed by fire, this epidemic happened at the stadium traffic signal.
Firefighters were hampered by the access path to the scene, but they arrived quickly and were able to put out the raging fire.
Fire Service DO ll Nibunu Callistus, the Upper East Regional Public Relations Officer, confirmed the event to Citi News, saying it was caused by a burning garbage dump near a tricycle dealer’s store.
“Investigation revealed that there was rubbish that was burnt behind a dealer’s shop and it was not properly done, the fire got into contact with some oil and containers that escalated it.”
