Bosso Vincent Freed After J.B Danquah Murder Charges

Authorities at the Nsawam Medium Prison have released Vincent Bosso, 34, following his acquittal by the Accra High Court.

The court cleared him of any conspiracy to rob alongside Daniel Asiedu (Sexy DonDon) on March 19.  Despite the prosecution presenting eight witnesses, no prima facie.

He spent eight years in custody until his recent released following the announcement by prison service officers that he would be freed. On Friday, March 22, his release was postponed due to paperwork, despite his mother and lawyers being present at Nsawam Prison to greet him.

His mother, Juliet Bosso, expressed her intention to change her son’s name from Vincent to Succeed. She was speaking in an earlier interview with EIB Network’s Legal Affairs Correspondent, Murtala Inusah.

The murder of Joseph Boakye Danquah, a prominent Ghanaian politician and member of parliament, occurred on February 9, 2016. Danquah was found dead in his home in Accra, Ghana. Initial reports suggested he had been stabbed, and there was suspicion of foul play. Subsequently, Daniel Asiedu, also known as Sexy Don Don, was arrested and charged with the murder. Asiedu confessed to the crime but later recanted, claiming he was coerced into making the confession. The case sparked significant public interest and raised questions about the security and safety of public figures in Ghana.
