Broda Sammy talks about performing at a nightclub

Broda Sammy talks about performing at a nightclub.

Popular Ghanaian gospel artiste, Broda Sammy has shared his approach to evangelism, expressing his willingness to perform and spread the gospel in drinking spots and nightclubs if invited.

In an interview on TV3, Broda Sammy disclosed his non-discriminatory stance.

“I don’t view people as non-believers and refuse to work with them. I see them simply as people.”

He revealed that, his efforts to perform at many churches have been unsuccessful, leading him to seek opportunities in alternative venues.

“If a drinking spot or nightclub invites me to perform, I will go. If a secular artist invites me, I will accept. I aim to spread the word wherever I can,” he explained.

Broda Sammy believes that nightclubs and drinking spots are effective locations for evangelism, as they attract people who might not normally attend church.

“When I go to church, I know everyone there is ready to hear the gospel. But those in nightclubs are not necessarily there for that purpose; that’s where I aim to win souls,” he said.

He criticized traditional approaches to evangelism, questioning why Christians can preach in markets but not in nightclubs.

He argued that, there should be a shift in how the gospel is shared.

“Even the devil has adapted his strategies, so why can’t we? The places where people are sinning should be where we conduct praises and worship,” he concluded.
