In the Naniik and Binbagu settlements of the Bunkpurugu district in the North East Region, multiple houses were set on fire due to a purported chieftaincy conflict, resulting in one fatality and multiple injuries.
According to sources from Channel One News in the two neighborhoods, residents hurriedly left behind anything they couldn’t carry.
An attempt is being made to obtain information about the steps taken to try and bring peace and tranquility back from the District Security Council.
