Cabinet Members Will Be Announced In 14 Days, Says Mahama

Within the next 14 days, President John Dramani Mahama has promised to disclose his whole cabinet.

Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin expressed reservations about the President’s “tot-tot” approach to ministry nominations, which prompted this announcement.

Mahama encouraged National Democratic Congress (NDC) followers to refrain from acts that would implicate the government during a special National Muslim prayer and thanksgiving ceremony held on January 10 at the National Mosque in Kanda, Accra.

“Government is being formed, ministers will be put in place, other officials will be appointed. And as I said, we will have our full cabinet in 14 days.

“And so we will have ministers in charge if you have any issues you consult any of the ministers and have it resolved. So, exercise restraint. Many [people have said it is the same thing the NPP said when they came into 2017.”

“And that is why Ghanaians have voted them out. We must not copy the mistakes that they made. I plead with our supporters, let us do things in an orderly manner.
